This one that I just got almost makes me wish that I was a hunter so I could use it! I don't have the full size model to compare it with except for a buildout. Sadly, I can't locate where I put the buildout.
The CS (Compact Skinner) blade is .120 thick, 4 1/2" long and the knife is 9 1/4" long over all and weighs in at 5.4 oz. That's compared to the standard size which has a blade that is .150" thick, 4 3/4" long, with an overall length of 9 3/4" and weighs in at 7.7 oz.
There's a bit more Rosewood inset into the handle of the standard size model and there are some blade shape differences also.
I'm thinking that sharpening the blade with it's curved profile might be a challenge. I've shown it alongside a 103 to give it some scale.
I just LOVE the "new car smell" of the leather sheath fresh out of the box!
