The new Esee 4 finally arrived!

I ordered my 4 last week and it was suppose to arrive on Saturday. According to all the tracking info from USPS everything was good to go. When I checked the mailbox sat night, there was nothing and according to the USPS site they "left a notice" but the zipcode posted was on the other side of town! Needless to say, I was very upset and it ruined my Sunday.

After spending much of this morning calling USPS( a joke btw, they have horrible cs) and dealing with a hour wait at the post office. We had all the information sorted out and discovered my 4 would arrive with todays mail. To my surprise, I also received my cool kids club card too! (thanks to the gunners and everyone involved with these) :thumbup:

Whenever I get a new knife, I make sure to open it with another one from the family tree. So far, I have 2 izula (both OD), 2 fire kits with replaced misch metal rods, an arrow head and now a 4!

Wonder what can be in the box?

My particular dealer was all out of the 4 w/MB. It was actually cheaper to buy them separate and saved $1.88!

I'm not really one for Multicam, but when your brother gives you a Kifaru Marauder Multicam bag, you take it and smile. I took one of the spare pouches he had (Tactical tailor Strobe/Compass pouch) and attached it with the included Molle locks. Luckily I had 2 extra long screws from an izula kit, so I used those to attach the pouch.

I had to cut the altoids can a bit to make the firekit fit. So far, I just have some fatwood, and a BM pull through sharpener( Yuck I hate these things but as a last ditch effort it will work, there is also a small diamond surface to use as a stone).

I actually wanted the OD green version but the dealer I go to didn't have them in stock.

I HATE USPS!!! By far the worst. I received a package that was supposed arrive yesterday, today! UPS is the best in my experience. Anyway, congrats on the 4

UPS and FedEx is the worse in my experience. They give you about 5 seconds of time between the knock for you to answer the door before they just leave, and it's about a 50/50 chance between them just leaving your item on the step or leaving you with a redelivery slip and the likelihood they'll just do it again until you have to pick it up yourself. I don't know which is worse, coming home to see my package just carelessly left on the step, or a redelivery slip. Especially when half the time they can't even place the redelivery slip in a place that won't blow away in the wind.

USPS puts the package in the mail box. Simple as that.

Sorry, just wanted to vent.
