I have been hanging out the last couple of days and now just thought I would say hello. I just joined yesterday and would like to introduce myself. I spend alot of time outdoors shooting and hunting. Just recently got into reviewing knife articles so thought I would start with the RC-5. I picked this knife up just over a month ago and so far really like it. I am heading off to NY for a fly fishing trip so will use it quite a bit for fire making and camp chores. Today I ordered an RC-3 and this will be my carry knife on the trip and here in town when out and about. Hope the knife gets here before my birthday this next Monday. Well hope to visit often and contribute when I can but I'm more of a lurker unless I see something to chime in on. The name here is Mark.

welcome to the forum - good choices for a camping set.
the 3 is a great slicer, and the 5 should handle just about anything you want it to do at the campsite.

Great to have you here! I have to agree the 5 and a 3 make a great combo, the 3 just feels right in my hand, very well balanced.

The RC3 is a very nice knife... I started to do a lot of different things with it, peel an orange, cut my meat, and other things man... i love this knife... :D
