I'm happily looking at the shiny blue reflection off of a DVD. :D And I'm really happy because I just realized a way I could save a bunch of money.

ps - It's not by switching my car insurance to Geico. :p

I just got another way-cool Voigtlander camera off ebay. Happily noticing it's perfect and was cheap- I got one for $2 once!

Also, the sunset wasn't bad. And I shot a full-auto Uzi last weekend!

Then there was the wood-fired brick oven hand-tossed pizza... life's full of good things.

Drinking Fanta, listening to Sinatra, surfing aimlessly before lights-out.

Put some more stuff (including two HI khuks  ) on ebay.

Bladite- is that my cheatin' BDC in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

Soupah-
did you ever hear Lou Reed's cover of 'Set em up Joe'? (if I got the song title right- Sinatra signature song)

It is very very funny. All the sympathy Sinatra tried to evoke- (as was common in his era for self destruction) is ruined by a flipant, selfish Reed, seeming a sociopathic punk.

Anyway, my 'happy' thought is my Cabela's two room tent stayed dry for some reason in the dramatic cloud burst we had here a few hours ago. Very strange, for some types of rain seem to get into the tent. Oh well- what do you expect for 220 bucks??

My son Carter is out there now asleep. Just think, all kinds of night life, including the possibility of a Cougar, and that kid sleeps like a baby in the outdoors. Love that kid.

I am very happy.
I got a few good deals on knives, pre-ordered a couple Swamp Rat Axes, and this summer weather is beautiful. (aside from the mosquitos)

Happy? Hmmmm. . . Yesterday I made a new knife. Had some Brazilian cherry wood laying around and wanted to give it a try and see if I liked it for knife handles. Dirt simple little knife, 4 1/2" spearpoint single edged blade, cherry handle slabs, brass rivets.
Today I was working on a little project out at a buddy's place. Used the knife to cut up a bunch of sisal rope, no problem. Needed to cut up a couple cardboard boxes, again no problem. This evening I decided to make a good sheath for the knife, so I used it to cut up some leather, you guessed it, still no problem. By now the little devil had my full attention. Gave it a few light licks on a leather strop, and the hair was practically jumping off my arm to get out of the dayumed thing's way. I reckon I'm pretty happy about that. ;)

I used to get these small pizzas . Three sections . Italian ham , clams , hot peppers . Wood fired oven . The restaurant isn,t there anymore . I now rely on mass produced pies which are slowly going downhill .

I only fired a semi-auto Uzi which is kinda like wearing a condom after a vasectomy . Oh sure its fun for the first two or three days .

I am happy I was just selected to play Jonathan in a low Budget film called Sight Unseen, Rat let's hope it turns out better than Bloodrayne!:D . . now if the money comes through!!

But none the less, it's another credit to my name.

test fired new to me Brazilian mauser in 30-06 yesterday. realized i can get a Spanish 1916 in .308 and convert it to cock on opening!

Sitting here at work, thinking about my Wife and kids, and how blessed i am.

Today I go to my daughters school to have their little 'Fathers Day Luncheon'. Thats a happy thought.

I finished a sheath for Sogguy last night. Its a sweetie.

Blade Show is THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a nice quiet night at home last night. The work day went smooth. I had to get in the demo pool because a gust of wind knocked over a table and filled the pool with safety glass. Lemons into lemonade: I got to swim around in 84 degree water for a few hours even if it was to fish out glass:foot: Got home and my lovely wife had turkey burgers ready to go with fresh grilled corn and broiled potatoes. After dinner, I got the back yard mowed and trimmed. One less thing that I'll have to tackle Sunday afternoon. Then we went out and got an ice cream, came home and sat on the swing to drink a beer and watch the dog run around like a nut in the back yard.
Once the sun set, we went inside to watch a little TV and talk about the camping trip we have coming up over the July 4th weekend. We took the dog on his first nature outting over Memorial day, and he did great on his leash.
Here's a pic of us taking in the view out at Garden of the Gods in southern Illinois.

Then, I got to finish up the night with a little Play Station 2. The ferret came over and curled up next to me like he does when i sit on the floor to play games.
Here's a pic of the little carpet shark:

Just one of those simple pleasures in life. What a great night:)

I used to have a ferret.

I'm happy cause I'm off work tomorrow, Monday Tuesday and am going to the WV Folk Festival and then 3 days and 2 nights of backpacking:thumbup:

I'm not happy, but I'll pretend to be. I've done it most of my life although I've recently given up the pretense.

Damn, Shann, that's pretty brutal to hear let alone live.

I'm prone to depression myself. Humor helps.
