Well, the dreamed of HD-7 came this week. Wow. This is an amazing knife. It's replacing a BM CQC7 from a long time ago. Thank you for the great tips and help from all!

I do have a question for other owners: when closing the blade the chisel side rubs against the G-10 side's inside. I've only played with it, but it is already starting to show on the peak of the first bevel. I've also noticed a slight side to side blade play when opened. Are these normal for this knife? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks again.

If I have a blade rubbing, I just bend the frame slightly until it clears the blade....but this is an HD, so not sure that will bend at all in this case.

I have the CQC-12, which is also HD. One thing I find is that with the one scale being titanium, is isn't as slick as a G-10 handle, so it is difficult to draw sometimes without some additional effort. It hasn't really smooted down over time, like a G-10 handle does....

Esav is correct-just snug the pivot screw. With the liner/ frame lock design you'll know when that screw is too loose. That's a great knife-got one!

Thank you all! I adjusted the pivot screw last night and it did it's thing. Too much playing with it right off the bat i guess. I also dropped a bit of lubricant. That helped a ton with the action. Thanks again!
