The new Jim Wagner Boker, any good?

It's got a bit of a mall-ninja'ish vibe going on in my opinion. That said, I sort of like it. :o Aside from the aesthetics (or lack of) of the giant "Jim Wagner/Reality Based Blade" I would be concerned about the apparent lack of pivot adjustment. From those pics it looks like would need a special tool/bit, if it's adjustable at all. Don't forget to post a review if you pick one up.

Saw that last night and its going on the short list... I really like the price and the fact its a lock back, I don't like the "tactical" ad copy or all the blade markings but Jim Wagner seems to have some valuable experiences and knowledge regarding edged weapons so I am interested to see that put into an actual blade.

It's about time this knife was released. Been waiting for a few months now. I hope some buys one to give everyone else an idea on quality. I like the fact that it could be waved open. Good steel. Good price. Questionable design. I am going to have to handle one in the future.

I've read a few reviews, and if I remember right, everyone was happy with how it was put together. I agree with trout #1 that the thing has a bit of a mall ninja'ish vibe, but I also agree with edgetrip that Wagner seems to be the real deal. Keep in mind that really good knife instructors constantly show that being good at combatives isn't the same thing at being good at knife design.

For me personally, the hybrid blade shape, coupled with the fact that the knife can't be held for reverse-edge techniques, makes this knife a no-go.

I think it looks absolutely absurd, and have no interest in it whatsoever.

"This knife has tactical features that no other folder has - two blood grooves in the blade"

Oh, man! :jerkit:

Looking at the pic again, it seems like it's chisel ground with the deanimation chanels on the back side of the blade. Does anyone know if that's the case?
