Oh YES!, my porcine brethren, the New Mexico Payload has been recovered and brought to Texas. Specifically my house!

Driving Time: 1.5 hours round trip
Number of trips: 2
Three quarters of a tank of gas: $40.00
Finding the Pink Payload Pig: PRICELESS

Here is the pig in his hiding place

And at home on my kitchen counter

It took me two trips. I spent about four hours looking around Las Cruces yesterday. And believe me Las Cruces ain't all that big. I asked a few different people all over town. One lady even called her boss and a few other folks she knew, but none of them knew where the sign was. They all said they had seen it but didn't remember where. So I went back today, armed with some additional clues, and expanded my search radius. And BAM, there it was right by the sign. Boy...I tell ya you wouldn't think to look where it was, or maybe you would if you knew how Jerry travels.:D

Yeah Baby!!! the HOG edition ASH1 is just a little closer to being mine now.

Now to formulate my newest and most grandiose plan yet. This one should net the one of the GRANDEST prizes in all of HOGDOM.

Remember my fellow HOGS....... NO REGRETS!!

Now those Payloads are cool and all but here is little nugget of Busse knowledge for you. There are over 36 payload knives, knives not tags mind you, that are buried all over the US. These are mostly all pre E-series. They are buried, suitably protected, in PVC pipe tubes. Most of these are extremely rare early pieces. Including two Argonne Assaults(or Steel Heart I's I can't remember which) buried together in Southern California somewhere. Most of these knives are PRICELESS. There is one catch................

Jerry has no idea where the maps are!:eek: Why do you think that he buries tags now? Alas my fellow porkers....... SAD but true:(:(

Happy Hunting,

Nick

Can we have a summary of what has been found and what clues are still out there to go hunting for? I live in Scotland but plan to come across the pond to try and score some infi, if there's a chance of some treasure hunting while there that's even better.

Fixed :)

Royal,
Except for a couple of them, I don't know what has been found and what hasn't. I wish I could give you a summary. Of course digging up the info is half the fun.

BTW, I spent 3 weeks in Scotland a few years ago, had a great time. Especially getting really drunk at the Old Forge!! Scotland is a really beautiful place, I hope to return one day.

Regards,

Nick
