Greetings All!

I just finished posting a review of Jerry Hossom's new CPM-3V fighter @
http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/001358.html

Take a look if you have a second. I think that the serious knife players among you will find it interesting. Let me know what you think.

Gaucho,
About a year ago Ed Schott popped in while several of us were Kali training and he brought over a sample of CPM 3V and he was telling us the benefits of the steel and he was performing tests with it right there that was pretty impressive.

After a few conversations with ED, who worked with and tested CPM 3V pretty extesively I was sold and I now have him making me several goodies out of CPM 3V. I just got my dagger from him, it is awesome and scarry sharp.

I am so impressed by the properties of CPM 3V that I am having a small collection of goodies made out of the stuff. Next Ed will make me an 18" short sword and after that a utility knife and smaller dagger. My life will not be complete and I will not have lived life to the fullest until I get that sword.

CPM-3V sounds like a good move for the Millenium Fighter!

Donna,

How are you? Ed's the Real Deal, no doubt. His stuff is outstanding!

Friday I should have the Espada in A-2- 30" OAL, 23" blade, forte ahead of guard, weight only 26 oz.!- to play with

. I'll let you know how it works. And you have to promise to tell me how your short sword turns out.

Jerry has ordered several sword length pieces of CPM-3V for the next round of swords. I'm drooling already!

Ed Schott had the jump on most all of us. I'm really just a recent convert to CPM's, but I'm a pretty avid believer now.

I'm now buying my CPM-3V from Ed. Nice man, nice knives.

I am lucky, I have two really good knife makers practially in my back yard, Ed Schott and R.J. Martin. Its nice when you can go right to your knifemaker's home and vs. versa. I suppose that is an advantage of living in a small State.

I would really like to hear how your sword works out, mine is a very differant design... it is more of a chopper than a stabber, although it will do both, it will favor chopping off limbs and other misc. parts and attachments.

Greg Allen has a bolo which has a very similiar shape.

Gaucho, I have a question
ahem,

"Hay rumor que sos cuchillero. ?Es verdad?"
