Rogue - The M18 only comes with a reverse curve drop point. No plans for a tanto or spearpoint.

Grat looking knife,I am going to have to add that one to the "buy" list. Like I need another new knife! :D
 
They look nice. Too bad both of them exceed 7" length. I'll have to pass them up.

That picture was of the first prototype. In the next few weeks, the other colors will be available. I'll post another picture with the different inserts.
 
Will a plain-edge model be released? How about a Tanto version?

I like everything except the choice of steel. Not that AUS 8 is bad! However, if it were to be made of let´s say BG-42 as for an option... Now, that would make my head spin!

I had a chance to play with the M18 prototype at Blade in June and it was very nice. It felt great in the hand with excellent ergonomics, weight and balance. Plus, adding the LAWKS makes the M18 a huge improvement over the M16. Rod Bremer from CRKT is sending me one for performance testing- I'll let you guys know how it does.
