The new normal for BF...

Hey everyone.

I took a 6 month hiatus and haven't been on BF since last Sunday to post some knives for sale. WHAT HAPPENED TO BLADE FORUMS?? What should've taken me an hour tops to post a few knives took me half the day. DNS errors, load times that make a Gateway computer from 1999 look slow and the entire interface is just not very ergonomic.

Is it just me? Is this only a fluke and will pass? It honestly is kind of deterring me from wanting to come back because it's incredibly frustrating. Membership renewal not looking so tasty this time around, which sucks because I used to love it here; 9 years later even.

I have t had that problem, bladeforums usually works pretty well. However, I have noticed that all internet activity seems to be slower lately. I assume it’s just a local problem but recently I’ve had a ton of problems with my phones internet, my home WiFi, and it doesn’t seem to matter where I am.

My internet speed is no problem until I log onto Bladeforums. Something really needs to be done about it.

Slow to load (if it does without timing out), slow to upload, glitchy pop-ups for notifications, etc.

It can't handle the high traffic. Right now works as it should. Weekends and evenings during high traffic it doesn't.

I thought that the slow loading was due to my iPad, guess it’s something else.

Definite problem on Blade Forum's end. Pretty well documented - look at some of the threads here in Tech Support.
