I was looking around at Chestnut Ridge and I noticed that they have RD's and Afghan's in the 60+- dollar price. What is the difference between the blades.

I believe you are talking about the Ranger Bush Series. They are 3/16 thick compared to 1/4 on the more exspensive ones.
