The new Spyderco site is up!

it's so cool!!!
photo archive, downloadable catalog (past catalog archive would be awesome...), press releases, new attractive forum etc...
everything is there! GREAT! :D

BIG SURPRISE!!!

download the catalog and you'll see a picture of the Manix, Kopa and SzaboFly!!!!!

That Manix looks craaaaaaaaaazyyyyyyyyy!!!

Now THAT is a KNIFE... love the forward guard and the ergos, and of course, the utilitarian, pointy, but full flat ground and swoopy blade.

Sal... how will I choose between the Manix and the Y now?! Argh!

Gull Wing...

When I try to download it, it crashes my Acrobat Reader... is that problem you are having too?

It is surprisingly beautiful. Now I need to start saving for it.

Does anyone know what type of lock it has? It looks like a lockback to me but the description does not mention that.

Try right clicking -> 'save target as' and download the file onto your desktop (for instance). Then the file should open in Acrobat Reader without any problems.

Marlin,
It is a lock back just like the Chinook's. This is an awsome knife. I got to handle the prototype at the Blade show and can't wait until it comes out. Really looking forward to this blade, will be getting one as soon as available so look for a review.
