The new ZK knife on video RFN go check it out.

The host was painfully annoying but the chopper is sweet! I wonder about the specs, I would love .250 thick but I'm guessing .1875 or less.

Looks more useful than the previous zk models for chopping and woods work..im intrigued!

Dude, modifications start the day I get this thing. If it's .25'' It is probably getting a beastly drop point, stripped, new scales, or stippled scales. Mayyybe a clip point:D

.25 inches? finally, a proper knife ;)

mama-cita!

gooooo Joe!

definitely need one for testing ;) hey, yah, maybe two :> dual wielding!

MUST HAVE IT :)

i hear it will be more expensive as a result of being American made. the fans asked for that, and they will pay. no complaining :)

MUST MUST MUST !!!

damn, it's not for sale yet either :D

Proof is in the pudding. We asked for "merica" and we got "merica". Now our army can equip with USA gear. Does USA zombie steel kill more efficiently then Taiwanese zombie steel?

govt budgets LIKE stuff that costs more. must be BETTER :>

hell, make a model in 3/8 in, charge $250 for it, and put a bunch of lanyard holes all over the place :D PLUS throw in a sheath :D

course, for a limited time only, the American models should come with a patch and t-shirt ;)

btw, did i mention that my local hardware store? second best i've ever seen next to Ethan's in Vonore, carries KaBar, in particular, Zombie knives, and the manager was wearing a KaBar Zombie shirt? sweet.

Hmmm....I don't like it but I'm sure it'll sell like hotcakes. :o Best of luck with it, and great to hear about the USA manufacture! :)

That's the first ZK design that I like. And it's especially awesome that it's so over the top... it's a cleaver, basically, like T Hunt's M-series. It truly is completely awesome.

More resembles an "ayda khatti" or heavy Italian billhook. Personally I think that the curvature of the handle, when combined with the small heel and jutting toe of the blade, overly limits the range of utility of the piece. A straighter handle would still hit plenty hard but would give better clearance. Just my thoughts though. I'm excited for KA-BAR regardless and think they're on the ball in terms of being market leaders tapping into the developing interest in tools of this general family.
