The newly arrived Case 62032 jack

Very nice Doug. It's what I'm carrying today too :)

Those are some great photos Doug. The 62032 is one of my favorite knives. One of these days I'll pick up another one as a backup.

Here's a shot I took of mine a few months ago. The patina's changed a little bit, but otherwise it looks the same.

Seems like these are a must-have from the modern Case catalog, along with the SBJ and Peanut. Do they have half-stops?

Mine, which is a 63032 Amber Bone CV Texas Jack does not have half stops.

The other knife in this pattern, with stainless steel blades, is the Sunset Winterbottom Jigged Bone Medium Jack, (non BF dealer link removed, please read the guidelines).

I have three Texas jacks, one in CV and amber bone like the ones above:

a stag rancher version (CV), shown here with the mini trapper in the same series:

and the olive green bone with pinched bolsters and Tru-Sharp:

I really like this pattern; it's near the top of my list.

You guys are killing me! The past week I've been eyeing up this knife. These pictures are just hitting me and the knife is begging to be bought.

What can we say? Enablers we are.

Doug, when I saw that Olive Green TJ, I couldn't resist it. I'm a sucker for Texas jacks anyway and it is a very pretty knife.

Very nice knife. I just received one in a give-away and am very pleased with it.

Oops... the model I won was a 6292. But I still love it!

Thanks for this thread... now I know, why the Case Texas Jack is pretty high on my short list for 2013... :p

It is a superb pocket knife. I did carry one quite a lot last year, BF traditional 2012 took its place tough it is a bit on the large side form my edc taste.
The case texas jack is a very capable package, light and with two good blades that complement eachother well. I would like to try a GEC white owl or something similar to find an upgrade.
I find the size a bit better than the peanut which is just a bit to small for my liking.

I'm confused as to what the difference is between models 62032 and 63032 for I have seen the 63032 with only two blades also.

I just got my 62032 SS Texas Jack with olive green bone. I love it.....beautiful color.
