Well, it's the beginning of the end. I just made an account with the Busse Company Store and ordered a Game Warden w/Black Crinkle and Black Micarta. I probably would have preferred black G10, which there was one of, but the blade on that was Olive drab instead of black and I'd like this to be able to blend into my clothes as much as possible because I want a little under the shirt on the belt knife for work and I want it to be as non flashy as possible. Now I need to find a non bulky unobtrusive sheath for it.

And an update to my first thread, so far this is what I have incoming:
Muddy Meaner
CG Satin Jack

I'm still looking for a full flat grind SH in an affordable configuration and a HellRazor and I think I'll be set. For a while. Aw heck, who am I kidding.:)

ps. I've also been doing my homework and I'm getting better with all the abbreviations.:)

They just keep coming up with different models and new blade color/handle combos on the existing models.
It never ends.

Welcome to the insanity, the GW is a great start ! It's all down hill from here ;).

You'll love all 3 of them, now you just need a BM to fill out the spread.

rhetorical question (so as not to annoy the admins), where'd you find a CG SJ ? It's one of my favorites.

These weren't my first Busses, it was just that I hadn't actually ordered any from the company store yet to confirm the madness.:D I'm currently trying to trade into the perfect Busse but I'm not sure which one it is yet. But I'll keep trying til I find it.:) I've currently got a FFFBM on the way to OnScene for a sheath and my others are boxed up waiting to be mailed for the ones listed above.

As far as the CG Satin Jack I traded into it upon the suggestion from some of the locals.:) Which is the same reason I'm looking for a FSH and a HellRazor currently too. There's a couple of the HHFSHs for sale around but I'm holding out for a flat ground one.:foot:

Run while you still can,
I have only been here since January!
I just cashed out my 401K for Bloodbath INFI:eek::eek:

Greg, sweet score on the GW.

If you're looking for a very small, unobtrusive sheath, the BuyBrown kydex is really nice. It's a blade friction sheath, which will mark your blade more over time, but it is REALLY small.

I'm kinda thinking black kydex that will go horizontal and vertical for versatility.

Dave put a mini tek-lock on the one above, it would work for either horzontal or vertical. I wore it vertical, small of back...

Got a SH-E, FSH, SR Rattweiler, and a Hell Razor inbound. I'm cheezin.:thumbup: Now for the sucky waiting part.:o

Woah, you got a good bunch of blades --- Congrats.

Looking forward to your reviews!

Newb first impressions of the ones I got today:

GW- Nice little knife. I'm gonna get some kydex for it and wear it on the days I know I'll be in the office/field. Shouldn't scare the sheeple.

Meaner Street- Not big on the profile but I can't put my finger on why. It's very comfy in hand. Most likely will trade eventually.

CG Satin Jack - Long skinny height-wise fat thickness-wise with skinny slabs which make it super comfy combined with the width of the blade itself. This is my favorite although it was my least favorite from some of the pics I've seen. Came with the stock canvas sheath, I may upgrade it at some point cuz I can see carrying this one too.:thumbup:

ps. can someone tell me what double cut is? Both sides ground instead of a full Chisel Grind?

double cut is the finish on the blade... double cut blades are the ones that look bead-blasted, but it's actually a much more detailed process than that. Honestly I don't understand the real process, even though Leatherman has explained it for me twice... :foot:
