Hey guys, ive been working on something pretty cool lately.
Depending how long you guys have been collecting, you may remember about 3-5 years ago when Tasmanian blackwood really came onto the knife making scene in a big way. Before, the go to curly wood was koa.
But as you all know, koa prices have been going up and up and up, and when tasmanian first came into the market it was regularly 30%-50% cheaper for the same level of curl. Now, the price gap has shrunk a lot.
But there are many acacias in the world. Recently ive been bringing in Formosean Koa, also known as golden acacia or Acacia confusa, which has some curl i think you guys will love.
