Here is one I recently finished for a customer and thought I'd share. I wanted folks to know I havent been sittin around doin nuthin.

The blade is 7 inches and made of 1080 and 15N20. The fittings are Stainless and the handle is Ironwood Burl. The handle is thru tang construction with the pommel fastened to the tang. Its named after a well loved and respected gentleman. I expect to make this knife again and will probably forge some from carbon steel. Thanks, Lin:)

Boy Lin, you keep coming up with the great ones. Very nice ironwood and blade lines.

Bring some of these to Jerry's next fall. :D

Absolutely beautiful. Good to see you at the Hammer In. Thanks again for taking time to show me around and introducing me to Jerry, J.R., Jim, Brion, John etc.

Lin,
Another great looking Bowie from you, don't know which looks better, the striking Damascus or the gorgeous Ironwood burl, they complement each other nicely.

Can only echo what everyone else has said - a very striking piece!

And I would admit that I'd love to see one in a carbon steel with a nice hamon... And given the size, it would fit right in with my collection!!! :D

Hey guys,

Just a note from the guy that Lin made this knife for. It was designed to honor my father at his passing, as he also shared a passion for knives. I must say, Lin has been exceedingly couretous, artistically blessed, and may profoundly impact my life with this little beauty. It was his knives that have inspired me to look at knife making as a future hobby.
ps: From my perspective, it is the most georgeous knife I have ever seen, can't wait to get it.
