I have a VT Tac Set aside for me by Andy Prisco at ATC, so I'm lookin foward to that... And to see what the other guys got goin on...I'll try to bring my digital camera with me to snap some photos...If I can get it workin...

Anyone goin...Like I said, i'll have my Busse T-Shirt and probsbly a Mountain Hardwear jacket om if any forum-ites are goin and wanna say hi...

Yours in Holy Rusted Metal Batman...

Veritas,

I hope you have a good time, sounds like there will be a lot of great knives there.

Look forward to seeing any pics you get.

I think I remember Dark Nemesis saying something about going, hopefully he'll stop in and see this thread.

Howdy from day one at the NY Custom show....I couldn't get my camera qorking...sorry guys, but i did manage some pics with my friends when I got home...

Anyway...Great turnout...Everyone I wanted to see was there except Rob Simionich...I couldn't find him :( ...

Lots of people, some greatr stuff to look at, including some fine sword makers...really pretty stuff...

Highlight tables happened to be next to one another...Andy Prisco and the ATC table...I had a VT Tac waiting for me, and then Andy talkedme into(Yeah right!:D ) buying the shoulder rig for it which is a dream. You barely no u have it on, and it draws in seconds! he had so many custom pieces on the table it wasn't funny...some great stuff from Hayes and Paul Brend designs. I have to say Andy was an absoulte pleasure to talk to, since we are both NYC natives, it was an added bonus...He even invited me to learn about tomahawk throwing, u can't beat that! Thanks Andy!

Next to him was the Strider booth...they really make some great stuff when it comes to high performance knives...Busse and Strider are it for me when it comes to this, and there new folder = :p Really nice design using the frame lock design...the knife seems strong like an ox...very expensive though!...in the 3 to 450 range i think...But he had some really nice pieces to look at, unfortuneatly, i don't have the funds to purchase a Strider so was relegated to my VT Tac, plus i had spent the extra dollars on the shoulder rig...

All in All, a great turn out...I'm gonna try to go back tommorrow, Andy promised he'd talk me into a Paul Brend fighting hatchet...

Here's some pics of the VT Tac with the standed sheath and the shoulder rig...and My CG SH so she's not left out...

Man, great looking rig and Tomahawk. Thanks for posting the pics and the info on the show. :D:D

Vin,

That is a sweet looking rig you picked up. That kydex sheath with its shoulder harness looks to be very fast!!! Hummelbaugh does awesome kydex work! Now get out there and throw that thing. . .

Congrats on your purchase!!!

Jerry

I made a War Hatchet back in the 80's out of A-2. . . .I'll see if I can find any pics. It was very mean!!!

Jerry...It is VERY fast on the draw... I was talking to Justin about the idea of having a kydex draw on both sides so you can wear two...that would be so cool...!

That would be one bad as mother @#$%!&*^
:p ;) :D

Nice Vin. Missed u at the show Friday night. I was over by Strider most of the time and spent some time with Jerry Hossom, a real gentleman. Also talked with Sal Glesser and Mike Janich. Both also real good guys. Good luck with your skull crusher. :D Ed C
