Does anybody have info on how the rest of the weekend works? I understand there was a drawing today at 3pm. But if someone (me) was able to go Sunday is there a drawing each day? Having not been to a knife show where Rick was at I don't know how it works. Only intended to go IF there was a likelihood of being able to make a purchase.

I believe for this show its Fri/ Sat drawings (Emmerson in addition to Hinderer Sat.) otherwise there are lots of slick knives around on tables and if not otherwise marked usually, you can choose whatever beaut. you want.

nycks.com should be the site for info.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that Rick and crew said they brought 21 knives for each of the three daily drawings. My wife and I were there today, and amazingly I was one of the winners for the drawing. Picked out my XM-18 flipper with a gray scale...LOVE IT!!! I had not been aware on the mark-up these things bring! People that won the lottery were turning right around and flipping them for a hefty profit. I'm keeping mine! Basically the way it works is that everyone fills out a drawing ticket before 3 PM. They then lay out the 21 knives for the day on a table in the next room, and you get to choose which one to purchase when/if your ticket is drawn. So the first winning ticket gets the pick of 21 knives, while the last one gets to buy the last one left. Very cool show.

My good buddy Joe (Mag1) was there and he won second pick at todays lotto! Lucky b@$%@#
I'm happy for him though!

Congratulations are in order. Very Cool. Gotta be a great feeling gettin that number called.

Oh good call stevekolt, hadnt heard it mention there were three days drawing at the show, all the better for sure as for good reason the room was practically filled for the drawing.

I for one can attest that going to ones first knife show or going for untienth time one can win out for Hinderer's knives, they claim and do have an awesome fair system.

Enjoy in the best to winners and Luck to others the next couple days, either way as the show is so slick Id be set with some cash and a slobber guard.

Congrats on the score:thumbup:

Hey guys, Hinderer Knives will have another lottery today (Saturday) but not on Sunday.

Gonna keep my fingers crossed that they update the schedule to include Sunday. When I looked Friday, it didn't include Saturday so there is reason to hope I suppose.
