I saw a version of this on another forum and thought it would be a good idea to make our own version here.

I'm thinking we post recipes of stuff that's easy to put together and can be done in a camping/outdoors situation if possible. Extra points if the recipe includes a cut/s of sus domesticus and is incredibly unhealthy.

I'll start. This is one from my grandmother. It is a rough guide as I usually make up the quantities to suit the size of the cut of meat...

French Coke Pork Belly

1x rolled pork belly
2x whole garlic
3 - 4 sprigs of Rosemary
3 packs of powdered French onion soup mix
1 litre of coca-Cola
Vegetable oil

Oil a baking tray liberally or suitably sized camp oven. Spread the pork belly out skin down. Rub oil into the meat. Scatter a few whole garlic cloves, 1 pack of soup mix and rosemary leaves around bottom of oiled tray. Put pork belly in tray meat down and score the skin with your favourite slab of INFI in whatever pattern pleases your eye. Stab a few holes here and there and insert the rest of the garlic cloves. Rub oil over skin. Sprinkle another pack of soup mix along with rosemary leaves over the skin. Pour in about half of the coke being sure it spreads around evenly.

Put in oven until about 3/4 cooked. Take out of oven and sprinkle the last soup mix pack over it and pour in the rest of the coke. Put back in oven and cook until it is cooked well and skin is relatively crispy. Slice up/shred with your favourite Busse blade and eat. Serve with your favourite alcoholic bevvie as a side. Is really nice on fresh bread rolls with butter.

Be sure to have your local emergency telephone number handy as it is highly possible you will enter a diabetic coma after consuming this dish.

Enjoy!!!!

Not as extravagant as yours Mr. Stanley, but. Learned this one from barracks life.
1x Creamy Chicken Top Ramen
1x Mac'N'Cheese
1x Carl Buddig Chicken Lunch Meat
Make both noodles the same as usual but crush the top ramen while in package. Drain and mix the noodles together when finished. Then continue with Mac directions but add the creamy chicken packet to the mix. Then chop up the lunch meat and toss it in. Stir it up and, Bingo! Instant broke/drunk food!

Some of my smithing friends and I got together and decided we wanted turtles... not your ordinary turtles.... beef, bacon, smoked applewood cheddar, and cheddar braut turtles! So... this is what we made:

They were absolutely amazingly tasty if you can imagine.
I forgot the specifics of the amount of meat, but you make them to your desired size.
Get some hamburger of which ever kind you like most. Season it to your liking. We drown ours in seasoning thinking that all the juices that were about to come out of that thing, might carry some of the flavor away (we were wrong, but it was a good thing).
Take your seasoned hamburger and place it on a plate. Smash it like a pancake, and add your favorite cheese. We used applewood smoked sharp cheddar. Then wrap the meat around the cheese making a stuffed burger.
Take your bacon and put t on a plate or platter, and make a basket weave with it. Then, take the woven bacon and wrap the burger with it. Tooth picks will help keep it in place.
Now, take a knife and cut four holes for the legs, and one for the head, and one for the tail. Take your cheddar brauts and cut them in half, and insert them into the holes. You can use the good hotdogs, or whatever else you want also of course.
Now cook the bastard slowly so the heat has time to cook the hamburger without charring the rest of the stuff (completely burnt the hell out of one).

You can mix and match everything up as you go, this was just a starting point. Enjoy!

I didn't get as big as I am eating like a rabbit... I'll just say this now.......

So, take your favorite kind of burger once more, and season it.
Make it a giant ass burger of course, because it has to fill up the area of a small pizza!
Get your favorite cheese (mine is applewood smoked sharp cheddar), and have it ready.
Find the pizza you want to use as your bread, and start it in the oven at the same time.
Once your pizza's are in and cookin, start cooking your massive ass hamburger patty.
When the pizza's are done, and your hamburger is done, place a pizza on a plate, quickly throw some cheese on it, and slap the hamburger on top. Then, the same goes for the second pizza, cheese the burger, pizza the top.
The second time around, I cooked up some bacon at the same time. It made it sooooo much better.....

Also, if you are going to do this, do not do the Tostino's pizza's... they suck for this. I made that mistake, and will regret it forever....
This is a quick and easy winner.

Roger That!!!!! Ok now I'm hungry.....:0

Yep going to try the pizza burger. The turtle's look really good. A little to tricky for me when i'm hammered.

Pickled Watermelon Rinds wrapped in Bacon is always a crowd favorite.

You will need:
1 jar of pickled watermelon rinds.
1 pack of bacon.
toothpicks.

You will find the rinds in the relish section of your grocery store. They are in a sweet syrup, don't let them scare you.
I like to use Hormel Black Label Bacon. It is consistently better than other major brands. It is worth the extra buck, don't fall for the cheap stuff.

Cut the bacon in half and cook it about half way to render some of the fat.
Strain the rinds and cut the larger pieces in half.

Wrap the par cooked bacon around each piece of rind and pin them with toothpicks.
Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the sugars in the rinds has caramelized.

Everybody goes crazy for these bits of goodness, they disappear fast. People who try them for the first time can not figure out what they are eating as they beg for more.

Bratwurst
Onion
Mushrooms
Garlic
Oregano
Lemon
Paprika

Mix in any quantity available. Leave an ingredient or 2 out and it'll still turn out good. A very versatile and tasty concoction
