There is no doubt in my mind that there is 1 washer on the clip side and 2 washers on the other side. That makes 3 washers (At least that's the way my knife is).

I took mine apart a few times and I thought it was only 2 washers. After seeing the thread about 2 vs. 4 I looked again and it sure looked like I had 4 washers in mine.

IF and I mean if there are 4 then they NEVER came apart from each other at all when I've had my D2 Para apart. I had it apart at least 4 times trying to get the blade to patina and never saw anything but 2 washers.

I dont really feel like taking it down right now but I might in the new few weeks...I'll check then!

I did the paper trick. Also I took my 120 lumen surefire and shined it full power inside to wash out any reflections.

Definitely 4 washers inside, that is my final answer.
