Yes, Folks, it's here, it's brazen, it's Christmastime and it's only five days until Spectre's Birthday. Now, You know a guy who named himself 'Spectre' doesn't go in for a lot of pretentious showy doughy stuff, so I'll kept this thread somber and tasteful. Yes Sir. We missed Spectre's B day last year and that's not gonna happen with this Very Special Preemptive (that's like- when you feel a pressure, you should go sit on the toilet just in case, if you're three years old I mean, and want to earn the Star Wars Light Saber Dad's been holding over your head for a month.) STRIKE THREAD.

TWO WAYS to win and NO ways to lose; we go Baby Jesus AND Spectre, born on the same day and every time a khuk rings in chopping wood an Angel gets their wings.

So, Happy Birthday, Spectre.

Merry Christmas too!!!

Have a great birthday, John:) You're one of the pillars of the Cantina (jeez, this place has so many pillars I don't think it even needs walls).
I'll hoist an eggnog twice on the 25th. Once for the spirit and once again for John's b-day. Then I'll probably stagger around a bit and slur "It's my friend's birthday. He's real smart and shoots things out of a tube."
Most people will think I'm talking about Jesus, but that's just half the fun of annoying your in-laws;)

Have a great one:D

Spectre wasn't so much BORN on the 25th, as "initiated."

He's a fact chewing, metal spewing, poet-warrior.

Nice to know of his existence.

Shucks.

I really, really appreciate it. I'm honestly a little surprised when almost anyone remembers my birthday- especially in advance! :D

I'm sure I'll be back around soon, but let me get a jump on wishing everyone a wonderful year filled with peace, joy, and love.

John

Happy Birthday bro. Hope its a great one. Sucks you get screwed in the gift thing though. My wife's is today and her sister is Christmas Eve. Sucks for them too.

Occasionally the topic will come up: what celebrities share a birthday with you?

I'd expect John would dominate such a conversation. ;)

Happy birthday, man. Preemptively speaking, of course.

Merry Christmas too. :p :)

Thanks, y'all.

I have made so many good friends, and learned so much since Edmund Rowe first introduced me to a knife forum, seven years ago! (I was in Warner Robbins
for a tactical carbine class he was co-teaching. That was back in the days when Mad Dog was the name in tactical knives.)

I value the time we share here, and I hope we can spend many more days together.

John

The preemptive birthday strike? Superior tactics!

Happy Birthday Spectre!!

This one??

May be before your time. No offence intended.
Regards, B.

Do the presents go under the tree, and what do they say?

Lol, Howard! Happy Christmas, Spectre!
