Ok, since the NMSFNOs seem to be shipping out already, I thought I'd start a little pseudo poll to find out how thick the NMSFNOs are and how much variation there is from the officially announced .25" (although it seems to be "approximately .25" now). Maybe the LEs are again thicker than the CGs, like with the NMFBM?

So, how thick are yours, if you've measured them? We don't care about the length, it's all about thickness, baby. :D :foot:

I haven't gotten mine yet, but when I do, I'll measure them.


Edit: our favourite 'ducci seems to have measured his CGs about .238" thick. :thumbup:
 
Interesting stuff so far - nothing outrageous yet like those .28" LE NMFBMs! :eek: Thanks guys! :thumbup:

Yes, mine, including the coating, are .238". I will be stripping one tomorrow, so I'll measure it and post pictures of what the blade finish looks like bare. :eek:

with a digitak caliper, mine is 0.243 "

how come the big differece in thinkness on busses?

don't they use the same plate of steel? for the 0.25 thickness and so on?

not that i care so much about the "on paper performance/specs" but i kind of feels that if a product got less values then the specifications says it is kind of foul of the company to not make them according do specs.

okay im drunk and shall not write anymore, but i just want to clear things out! BUSSE ROCK!
 
I can't believe that mine is the thickest. That's why I posted the pic with the calipers.
