A while back I mentioned that I'd be seeing about some Titanium scales for my Manix 2.
Back then I was just thinking simple, possibly textured scales, but my father had other things in mind.
The engraving is our family crest (arm holding sword, "In peace or in war" in Latin).
The ball cage is Ti as well, with a CF clip. It weighs about as much as the Manix 2 lightweight. I can wear it in workout shorts and not notice it. If you have requests for different angles or something let me know. I may post spine and blade pics here later.

This is what I had to work with. It was a lightweight that he had attempted to take the scales off of. I had to buy another Manix 2 just so I could get the shape of the scales. I also had to do some research as to what the spine should be. After reverse engineering the scales and drawing them and the new spine up on Cad/Cam software I was able to do the work at a machine shop that is owned by a close friend. The titanium is TAV6. I also made an identical set for my own blade.
