Yesterday our good friend and fellow CRK enthusiast Cowboy1629 (Hey Steve!!) Asked me a queston after viewing some pictures of my modest Chris Reeve Collection.."That is a FANTASTIC collection Dave! I got to ask... If you had to pick just one, which is your most favorite that you just couldn't live without?" I didn't even have to think about it.. This is without a doubt my favorite. Anyway that's the "One" that I would pick if I could pick just one. Its not the nicest, its not the rarest its just my favorite. To me it represents what Chris Reeve Knives are all about..
All the best,

That's a nice one for sure!

One day I will own a small regular, but until then it has to be my small insingo.

Its a great edc and its kicked all my other knives out of my pocket for almost a month now.

I plan on writing a review over it after one year of continuous use.

That's a good choice. The kind of knife that you could look at for years and not get sick of. Subtle, but refined.

Nice choice, I have one of the same vintage that was my work EDC for 10 years. Perhaps my favorite knife of all time.

I just can't do it !

It falls to one of my three CRK edc's
The Small Insingo I carried for about 2 years
Or
The Tanto Umnumzaan that I carried for about 3 years
Or
The Large Insingo that I've been carrying for about 8 months

That covers the lovely well worn users for form and function.

As far as the safe queens go, for pure aesthetics alone, it'd be, well, it'd be, seems I can't choose just one there either.

Maybe the Large Unique Graphic Reverse Silver Contrast Ol' Glory with a Ladder Damascus blade

Or

The Bark Ivory Mnandi with the Raindrop Damascus blade

Or

The Ebony Mnandi with the Spirograph Damascus blade

Let's face it, I suck at answering this question.

When my buddy Blackend came over and we had the collections out on the table he asked me the same question. With everything laid out I settled down to the Large Regular and the Large Insingo, I picked the Large Insingo as my one and only if all else had to go or if I had to run out the door and leave all else behind. I surprised myself with that answer but I stand by it, it's an awesome knife.

This is a easy one for me. The first CRK to come in to my life and it will be the last to leave. It is as Kidcongo said "The muscle care of CRK's.

If you had let me pick 2, I could easily answer the question. They would be my small damascus mamoth bark, and my small plain.
The plain is the one that does daily work, and the ivory is used lightly and admired. Now, in order to narrow that down to one, I would have to choose between the knive I use a lot, and the knife I use a little and enjoy looking at. Humm, I guess I choose the mamoth because I can always grab one of my Benchmades for daily work.

You've told me the story about how you acquired the ' 1' more than once and I never get tried of hearing it, Dave.:D: It's a really cool story.

I don't really have just one, I have a few that I carry and really like them a lot. The others are in a box jealous of those that get pocket time.

I continue to be amazed and impressed by your collection brother!! Rich (1AbominAble1) and I were just having a discussion about collecting and these are at the top of both of our lists!! :D of course since you own almost all of them we will have to fight over them when you decide to let one go!! lol lol. Thanks again Dino for sharing!!
All the best, Dave
