is that it gives you waaaaaaay to much time to think about the stuff your going to be getting in the mail 2 or 3 days down the line (and even worse, a month or two down the line...)...

as much as i dislike working 6 days a week - man does it ever make ship times disapear fast...
 
I'm guessing that you've got some Busses coming. I'd love to have some, just can't justify the price. Sure can't complain about my khuks though, hard working knives, great price, great company :D
 
im happy with the busse's i have :) a bm-e for my bugout bag, a ad variant for my belt... the only one i want now is the satin jack tactical wich wont be out for another 6 months or so...

i have all the busse's required to fill me "one blade for each major use/perameter" logic of knife purchases...

the one im waiting for will complete my "one blade for every major use" khukurie set -

a 30" ang khola....


and man is it hard to wait for... not to mention that the post office lost a 75$ money order of mine that will delay another purchase about a month.... meaning i have to go buy the product for literally 10 times what i was paying for it... stupid post office... (at least, stupid post office when they mess up...)

ive just had soooo many days off lately that im just sitting in front of the computer screan... glancing over at the 30" ang pic every 2 hours.... so bueatiful... so enticing...
 
lol... i wrote a post trying to justify it (the price of busse's), and everything i stated about the busse one could say "why not get a prybar."...

i keep my bm-e for a "what if" answer... almost any question of "what if my---blows up and im left--- in a ---",well, id be much happier in that situation if i had my bm-e. etc etc etc. it makes me feel safer having it. my ad variant is everything i want in a small blade - as though it was custom made for me. the only thing i could want more, is more slicing surface. everything else about it is what i would have asked of a complete custom. how can i put a price on that?

i dunno... for what it is, it simply is the best. getting blade steel down to an exacting science, infi cant be beaten, and the blade shape lends itself to massive abuse.

it fills a different need for me then khukuries do... im lucky enough to have the funds to buy both...

its the waiting to recieve them thats the hard part :)

Seth, go to the post office with the reciept for your money order and see if they will issue you a new one (They might have to do a trace on it first). Sorry bout it getting lost and the price going up. But at least the P.O. can get you a new M.O. (They won't refund it, but they can print you a new one that you can cash your self).

The Larger AKs are really sweet! And when you get it, test it's chopping against your BM. The AK will blow it away!! :eek: :D
 
i need to put a much thinner edge on my bm to get it up to speed with my 20" sirupati.... or even my 12 AK to be honest... that thing is awesome..., but, again, while id rather work for 12 hours cutting back bushes with a 12 ak, or a 20 inch sirupati, id rather have the bm in a car reck... that complete 60hrc without the possibility of chipping can make a huge difference...

they said i need to wait 60 days (wich is iether after it was issued or after i file for receipt copy, they didnt say wich), so ive got another month and a half before i can do that.... i'll need to just spend another 75$ to get the guy his money, and hope i can get the original funds back... im just hopeing the post office person at his place just put it in back and didnt scan it... that would help a lot.....


lol... "my drinking band has a bagpipe problem"... such a great shirt... my freinds had a bagpipe/traditional irish band, and they would go to pubs and play for free drinks :). they always had fun, and so did the patrons...

dos eqius amber vs. work... /vs. getting dos eqius without work... i think im agreeing with that the older i get bill :)

one of these days im going to get my hands on a bottle of sierra nevada bigfoot...
 
im thinking i need to split that wall of santa maria scrub oak thats been there for 2 years :rolleyes: (santa maria winters rarely drop below 45 - normally around 50... actually, we doint really have winters or spring..., only fall and summer....)
