Which one has to be on your SAK. I'd have go with the scissors. Second would be the wood saw. Eveytime i just carry a tinker i wish i carried my climber. :)

Tough choice.

I'd be going with either the can opener or scissors. The can opener is my small flat screw, Phillips screw driver, hook for taking the pot off the campfire, hook for pulling the retaining pin from the trailer hitch, staple puller, and sometimes it even opens a can. The Vic can opener is one versatile little tool.

But I do love to have scissors available.

View attachment 1212303 The tool I use the most is the real (cut) nail file which I have had installed on my newer Money Clips because the newer models come with a sand paper file. I have to furnish the real files which are scavenged from old Ambassadors.

My huntsman's large blade, but I've used every tool on it except the hook. I edc the huntsman.

I use the large blade on my sak a lot and I really like having scissors but the can opener/ screwdriver/ scraper / hook or whatever else I use it for is my favorite.

The very precise pliers. I use them at work all the time.
Right now I am EDCing a Champ but for years and years it was my Mechanic.
My Champ is older than the Mech. I've had it since about 1993.

I have to have an awl because I use it to clean out the glide on my carpet cleaning wand every day. The large blade is a must too do to my fruit addiction. I have a severe food allergy and can eat nothing preserved or processed so I have to have my fruit slicer.

It's a knife with tools and the blade is obviously not in question here, so I'd probably have to go with the standard driver.
I'd rather there was no cap lifter which I have zero use for, but the flat driver blade is just so useful for small light prying tasks which I never use a knife blade for.

The blade.
They are Swiss army knives after all, so isn't the blade kind of a given ?
There's gotta be something you just have to have on any Victorinox " knife with tools " you buy besides the knife which is why you bought it in the first place.

50/50 for me on the previously mentioned can opener, or the inline reamer on my farmer . It's a great deburring tool for pvc pipe, general purpose scraper and splinter gouger

My alox electrician, sheep's foot blade and surprisingly the awl. From starting wood screws ,scribing lines scrapping, to digging out a piece of bone in car tire last week, two thumbs up

For me the blade is a given, the next top priority tool in my opinion is scissors.
