Awesomeness Incarnate! Kevin told me beforehand that he was bringing a fancy bowie, with a very rare piece of walrus ivory. Rare, because a piece of walrus ivory that is big enough for a bowie taper is hard enough to find. Another rarity is the color and lack of any cracks or splits in the ivory. This particular bowie has a blade of about 7" of 160 layer O1/L6 twist damascus. Guard and buttcap are random pattern damascus and the spacer/fittings are 14kt gold. If I had the money, it would have been mine! Not to be though, as the thread title indicates. This one went home with Kevin. Somebody is going to be a very lucky person to get this one!
