Have you ever lost a knife? I few weeks ago I was on a trip from Kansas City to Chicago. I always check my knives when I fly just like I did on this trip. In my return to the airport for my flight back to Kansas City, the cab was delayed to the airport in Chicago and I arrived too late to check my bag. After much anguish and anger being rushed thru security and pondering all the options (stay overnight at $150.00 and fly standby in the morning wearing dirty clothes and such or drop my Spyderco Resilience into the trash can at the TSA station) I ended up leaving the knife. :eek: I still regret it and wish I had it back. What is the knife that you lost or had to let go that you wish you had back?
 
My Natives.
Sold them all when I grabbed the new Native 5 pre-order. I had no idea it would take this long to get my new one. :grumpy:

Sorry to hear this upsetting news.

Most airports offer a package mailing service kiosk next to the tsa security entrance. It's unmanned, do it yourself...... Next time :(.....
 
D2 Para. Have no idea where it is. I had Spydercos all over the house and it was getting to be a chore to keep track of them. Losing the D2 made me buy a box and do a better job of storing them. I usually do not have anymore than 2 out at a time now and knock on wood, have not lost any since.

That just kills me. I would tear my house up looking for it!
 
House, truck, coat pockets, couch, garage, etc. Not to be found. Fortunately, it happened not too long after they were disc. and there were some still popping up on the sales forum. This was before the sprint runs and disc. Spydercos got out of hand pricewise and I was able to pick up another for a good price.
 
I haven't lost a Spyderco, but I did lose a CRKT K.I.S.S. folder. An airport official made me throw it away or I wouldn't be allowed to enter a flight. Not a huge loss, but a loss nonetheless. Pretty annoying. It was about a year after 9/11.
 
My G10 Delica is somewhere... My wife and daughter (who is innocent in this case) both use Delicas and consider any in the house to be theirs..

I second that idea. I got my wife a pink Dragonfly. She loves it!

I can only think of one knife I lost and would like to have back.

Sometimes I think about some of my knives I had as a boy.
I gave them all away or traded them for other stuff, don't even remember what. lol
It's all good though, I try not to be sentimental about things.
Besides, I have "better" ones now :D

The crazy thing about this is, they will more than likely be intact 50 years from now. Time to grab some SCUBA gear and get going!

I lost my RAT model 1 today, its sitting on some construction site that I was delivering to today. It must have gotten caught on something while climbing all over my trailer. I just hope that the person who finds it will give it a good home. :(

Just realized this is the Spyderco sub... my bad, at least I haven't lost any of those.

I thought I lost my techno the other day but my kids found it in the couch while looking for their own toys. There were two kids last night that got a little bit of extra ice cream in their bellies for that found treasure.

I love happy endings! I bet they remember that and tell it again later as the inspiration for their own Spyderco addictions!
