so today I was waiting to bid on a gorgeous case 5347 1976 stockman in mint condition with the most beautiful stag I have ever seen on a case. I unfortunately got tied up with my landlord and missed out, it went for IMO a extremely reasonable price. This one will haunt me in my dreams, that stag just spoke to me. So I was thinking as a form of group therapy, it would be interesting to hear others tales of “the one that got away”.

Her name was Marie, she was tall and slender with dirty blond hair.....wait, you wanted to know about a knife, right???

I got nothing....

Yesterday at the flea market where I picked up a Klein R-3 electrician, there was also a red translucent Vic Classic, and a Wenger Esquire.
I already payed $5 for the Klein and didn't really want to give $10 more for both of these, but now I'm wishing I had.
I've already got 3 classics and the Wenger Esquire is basically a Vic classic wothwit the tweezers and toothpick, but i guess I've just got a bit of what if syndrome.
Not sure I wouldn't have given the Wenger away, but I know I would definitely give the classic some pocket time as I'm thinking of eventually having one for each day of the week.
