What Busse have you sold or traded that you now regret??

I have two, a 5/16" Police Recruit, and a BA-E with a GPB Sheath.

WWWWWWAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH....

There, I'm better.

What is your story??

Mike

Once I get ahold of a Busse, I just can't let it go! I don't waste any time aquainting them to my style of "tough love" either! I buy them and use them... "sell" just isn't in the vocab when it comes to Busses.

Besides, if I sold one, it would just be to buy another one... :)

My First Busse Basic #9... it had the smooth coating, & "pointier" tip than the later one; i should've hung on to that one!
i love those grips!
Now, i'm not complaining, for i have a bee-yoo-tee-ful USER 9" Bolo Variant, with a Cord-Wrapped handle, which keeps me pretty doggone contented... but i do regret selling my first #9...
Hoever; what i've NOT regretted is selling nearly all my other non-Busse knives so far, in an attempt to obtain INFI...!

Well, there are a couple that I passed on that I wished I'd have bought. The one that comes to mind is the LMS. I passed when it was initially offered and then ended up buying a couple on the secondary market for much more.

The others are a couple of variants that came up over the last couple of years.

This question always leads me to depression. First and foremost on my mind was a GORGEOUS large bladed knife on the NYC show table. Marc made me pic it up first even before my Bad Apple. God, I wish it had come home with me :(

Woah! Ditto the freakiness!
I just sent you mail about that knife before coming here too Marc:eek:

Looks like it's gonna be a hot one:)

By the way, I was once offered the one and only "Knight Light". I was so new to Busses that I turned it down as I was not sure what the heck it was and what its value was.

1whobuys probably has it in his collection by now!!

If not, whoever has it, I am still interested !

Another one that brings back memories is the camo handled, satin finished bolo with a willow ground false top edge (it was even hollow ground .) that Andy Prisco loaned me a couple years ago.
It had to be one of the most gorgeous Busses I've ever seen, and I even got to beat the crap out of it that summer, something I would typically hesitate to do on a knife that beautiful:)

I would sell my first born to get my hands on it again!:D

Contender,
The Night Light  I feel for you man ;)

Here a couple, I wish I would have picked up one of the Straight Handled Badgers with the false edge or the Double Edged MS when I first saw them. Been looking for the DE MS ever since.
