I started scuba diving when I was 8 in 1967.
This was my dad’s knife and it made me drool!!
Found it in storage yesterday and was thrilled!
Little corrosion, but none the worse for wear. This bad boy dove Grand Cayman, Bonaire, Fla Keys……..bitch got some miles!
Can’t find any info, but just thought I’d share.

Very cool that they chose to use a material that they made look like stag, any idea what it is? It certainly got that nice yellowing over the years like a lot of the vintage bone micartas will get but I can see it’s not fiber based.

Feels like some kind of composite. It’s been that color since forever, as far as I can remember.
Bitch feels awesome in hand!

That’s pretty sweet. You should take a magnet to it and see if the tang extends all the way to the end of the handle. If so I think that could make a decent outdoor chopper/camp/survival knife in addition to diving (I wouldn’t do any heavy baton work - but that’s true for virtually all knives).
Your Dad sounds pretty cool.

I got the exact knife from a friend about 15 years ago. He had received it from a friend also. Not much use to me so I gave it to another volunteer at the Tucson Wildlife Center who was going to central America to volunteer at a turtle rescue. She was going to be diving a lot. Glad to have a knife someone can put to good use.

That's a real beauty. What year is that Scubapro Sea Wolf from? My first scuba knife was a Scubapro made in Japan bought in 1970/71.
