( Que sorrowful violin music ) So once upon a time I had a "this knife". I loved it, didn't have it long though as I traded it away for a ZT 0200 . Well I came to the realization today as I wondered " what was my favorite EDC? ", I realized it was this:

Lovely ergonomics, rock solid lockup. So a little surfing and a good deal from the Fleabay. I should have one by the end of next week. I hope no one cried while reading my tale of woe :D. And sorry my humor is corny, just thought I would share. Credit to the man who took the nice photo on Photo Bucket.

I feel your pain dude, I traded away my military and totally regret it.I really like the looks of the ppt, I'm kind of torn between it and the para 2...Oh decisions .........

The PPT is a little razor! I've not carried mine for a while, but when it comes dress up time, I slip it in my right front!

Yes! That was my first S30V blade that sharpened up. I was shocked at how sharp it was!

Looks like a really useful design. It doesn't work for lefties with that type of lock, does it? If any left handed people have owned or tried one, I'd appreciate some impressions.

Well for me I always wanted to like the Manix's, but alas they're not for me. I gifted away my Mini Manix & traded my CFS90V Manix 2, every now and then I think damn those were nice knives. Then I get one in hand again and remember why I got rid of them.....

For me it was a Benchmade 555HG. I got mine back from the friend I sold it too in exchange for a Black Jack Necker and put a nice new edge on it. Very happy to have it back.

Evany. I am not a lefty, however I don't see the lock being the problem as much as the pocket clip is only positionable for tip up righty carry if If I am correct.

What knife os this? Im a benchmade guy but looking for my first spyderco. This looks like it might be a good tactical blade? So far my first choice seems to the a millitary or police because of blade size. I like to a carry a big blade most of the time. This is a good looking knife though.

It's the PPT. I got mine a couple days ago and can't put it down, cutter is right, It's a little razor!

Can't say I've ever sold one, then bought another, but I gave a C54 Calypso to a friend then missed having it in my collection and bought a replacement about 6 months later. After a year or so I gave that one to another friend then bought yet a third one sometime after that, which I still have.

Hahahaha! I had the same dilemma as you just a week ago. However, the PPT won me over. Deep pocket carry clip, 3D machined G-10 scales, Frame lock/liner lock, and it's one of the few Spyderco knives that doesn't have a hump to accomodate the Spydie hole. I had a para2, but sold it away because too much of the knife is exposed when clipped. Otherwise, the para2 is also a great knife.

The PPT is next on my list.
THEN a TI Military (have an Orange, sold a black). Sage 2, and LeafStorm.
Have to wait until December.

I feel your pain as well and I am glad that you bought replacement.
I sold quite a few knives, which I stopped using, do not like any more, or just needed $$ for my knife fund. I never felt sorry about any until I sold my used Native4. I have a spare, still want to buy another one, even after I bought Native5.

For me it is the Sage 1. Bought one, sold it, bought another traded it for an orange UKPK which I adore. The Sage has no faults at all, but very plentiful and there is indeed something special about the Golden made, orange UKs... Still, I might have my Wife buy me a 3rd Sage for Christmas!
