You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mindbogglingly big it is, I mean you may think a Case trapper is big, but that's just Peanuts to the #12....

That's a Cara Cara orange, it's the size of a small grapefruit......
And quite tasty, a good first test of the 12's prowess...

And the aftermath...

Comparison of a #12 to a #9, 2-#8's and a garden knife.

The 12 is a monster. It's the size of a nice big kitchen knife, and a much better slicer. Also makes a very acceptable mini-machete for garden or hiking work, although it is a bit much for the pocket.

The #12 is just a wee little thing compared to the #13. :)

And this one, this must be a #14.

Yup, it's Really Big!

My impression exactly when I first admired mine :) I have rather large hands, and even for me the grip is a tad large on this one for my liking, I just haven't gotten around to doing something about it though. I'm thinking about flattening out the sides a bit and going from there.

It sure is a biggun! Here's mine. Added an easy-open notch, and soaked the handle in some Rit dye.
Lives in my coat pocket in the winter time.

I have a #12 and #12 saw along with several smaller Opinels.
The #13 is a real beast.

I think the #12 is just right, if only 13's were cheaper and came in carbon...

I'm loving the top and bottoms especially. All nice but smitten by those two.

The finger grooves on the 12 look fantastic.

And something on the green one strikes the right chord. Is that a N9 worked down smaller? How did you get the deep green?
