Can anyone fill me in on the details of this rare find?
I saw it on one of the other knife auction sites.......

How about we just do this.

Here is the guys description:

Description (revised) Seller assumes all responsibility for listing this item.
For Sale is a rare Busse knife made by Jerry Busse of Busse knives.

It has a 9.5" blade and is made from INFI 3/16" thick with serrations and a-symmetrical grind with a White coating. I recently bought this along with other knives from a collector who told me this one knife was bought from a person in the USA who called himself "The Oppressor" and who believed that he was the lovechild of Jerry Busse but turned out not to be and was so dissapointed that he sold the knife to the collector i bought it from, the same gentleman supposedly camped outside the home of Jerry Busse until he agreed to make this knife for him, Jerry agreed after "The Oppressor" turned up at his door with "INFI" tattooed across his forehead ( i think i would have made it for him too)....and so goes the story, either way this is a lovely rare knife worthy of a good home regardless of the story that came with it.

There is a small part of the coating missing on one side of the blade as seen in the pictures this is only a small part of the coating and does not affect the blade whatsoever.

This is part of a large collection of rare knives that i recently purchased that will be listed over the next month.

Please email me with any questions.

Its the same knife DOL sold here... http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=457080&highlight=artic

Looks like maybe "murdoch123" or a different owner has is listed for sale on ebay from the UK... what an story...Lol.

There was some type of falling out between DOL and the buyer when it was sold. Check the GBU for the details.

I figured DOL was involved some how, being that the seller called it the Oppressor model. The seller was brow2222 or some such from Edinburgh

Tell it all Brother KAAK. :D

This knife has been in the state of KAAK aka AK. Not in my possession, but was within my knowledge. It came from Jerry, then that person took it to another location. It moved, then came back then went out and has now gained some amazing history

what is so amazing about it. Historians want to know. Did it save a family? Did it disembowel a bear? Did it open a bottle of pigs nose:eek:

It was carried on the first Iditarod Trail trip. It protected the elders from magical polar bear attacks and created the northern lights everytime it was unsheathed

But there are the doubters who say that it was from Busse for a mix up and that it was a military overrun that made it's way into a shop and then to the place it is now. But... LMAO... who would believe that crazy story?
