I got the second ax finished today except for a second coat of sealer but that will happen tomorrow. Same size as the one before 5 1/2" edge to edge, 2 1/2" at the pole, and 3" cutting edges. 16" maple hafts with a buckskin wrap and a couple turkshead knots and the doda on the end. Forgot to mention that both heads are out of solid bar 5160.

Ray those are absolutely masterful. Looking at em makes me smile and my heart palpitate. This is something no one else that I've seen, and I've looked at other maker's nessmuk axes at every opportunity, has pulled of so well. I could be paddling along any 1940s river and be perfectly at home packing one of those beauties. You are without doubt The Man His Own Self. Way to go and thank you!

My drift is pretty much finished , I have asked about as many questions as I think you can take :) . Today is a good a day as any
