Yeah, its been done before... but

Do you have a few knives that get carried the most? If so please post your list, pics are always welcome! :D

And, Why do we flirt with "others" when we know what really works for us?

My top three, DGG SNG, Non-Flipper XM, Large Bg-42 with blasted hardware.

Why?

SNG- Really light and very thin (double gunner grips, are profiled like the concealed carrys before they dimple texture them)

XM- I can not find one fault with the design or execution of a non-flipper XM.

BG-42 Large- OMG, what more can be said about a Sebbie? Bg-42 makes it better IMO, and I like the reg. much better as a user and think the bull nosed blade looks better.

I flirt with many, knowing that it's only postponing the inevitable...the Sebenza..

I purchase one thinking it'll keep my mind off the Sebbie, but find myself checking exchange rates and online shops - looking for good deals.

Of my folders.....

Swamp Rat' Rat Trap: I like the design, very slim....never notice it in your pocket, nice blade shape. But I was never comfortable with liner locks. Granted I never had one fail, but I have been known to be rough on knives. For 99% of folks this would be great....probably the best "slicer" of the bunch. Also....I know G10 is VERY tough, but I would like to see more steel in it other than the blade.

Fault.....cheesy thin plastic washers

Sebenza, Large Regular: Well....damn near perfect. Liner Lock...thicker blade than Rat Trap. Ti handles. Copper washers Solid as all get out!! Highly Recommend! Kicking my ass for getting rid of the large...I have a small now in BG42....just wish I could supersize it!!!

Fault...I got rid of it

Also, I don't like the Classic at all.

Burchtree, Chop Suey: LARGE, non traditional folder!:thumbup: flips open smooth and fast, frame lock:thumbup: This is my EDC and I love it.

Airkat Tripwire 7 MASSIVE THICK blade, you could knock someone out with it! I wish it also had dual Ti slabs instead of G10 on one side. Very comfortable handle.

I also had a Strider RC, CRKT M21

Most often one of these three. All are lightweight made with either aluminum or titanium scales. None are assisted opening but all three are very slick. I don't carry these with thoughts of using them for SD work, don't really need them for that however it is possible (very, very, remotely possible) that a pocket knife would be a last ditch SD tool. I do carry them because they are easy one hand use knives. I also normally have a slippie on me and a prybar.

From top to bottom... A.G. Russell Frame Lock Spear Point - Browning (Mcusta) Ice Storm - Benchmade Boguszewski Spike.

I thought I was the only one that rotated in threes. Right now I'm carrying some old classics that will be retired for the most part, and I've just decided my at home EDCs. Due to newer and better knives my work EDCs have recently changed as well.

At home: Benchmade PE 735BT, Benchmade PE 943, Spyderco PE 30V Military

At work: Benchmade SE 9050BT, Benchmade PE 615, Spyderco D2 Para Military

The only thing I see changeing is the Spydercos could switch roles.

I try to keep it fairly simple usually I am carrying on my belt a Iisakki Jarvenpaa with 3-3/8 inch blade or a Spyderco-Byrd Raven. I'm outdoors alot and use the knives for opening feed bags, camping and other small chores. I especially like the Scandi knives. I carry the Byrd Raven when away from the farmstead as to not attract too much attention.

Well, it's no secret that I've had a terrible case of Buck Fever for the last few years.....

It all started with the humble Buck 110 Folding Hunter....

But it soon progressed to the Alaskan Guide Buck 110....

Then the Buffalo Horn Custom Shoppe 110....

And then the Stag 110....

Then Indigo Royalwood....

And now Fiji Orangewood....

So, even though my daily carry changes....it's always a Buck 110.

Lately I can't seem to keep the Para Military out of my pocket, along with a Boker sub com clipped IWB in the small of my back.
At work (restaurant) its always the 551 grippy. Perfect work knife for me.
