Back at the beginning of the last century there was a comic called The Outbursts of Everett True. The premise was simple: a buffoon would inflict some common annoyance on Everett True, who would then react with a storm of righteous violence. It was a very cathartic comic.
It's nice to see that little has changed in the past hundred years:
Sometimes the crotchety Mr. True is on the receiving end of the violence, when he provokes his hard-working wife into delivering some well-deserved retribution.
