What do some owners think of this knife?.....

What is the blade thickness? How well is it balanced? What is the hardness of the blade?

I'm likely to get one sometime soon and would like some information from our resident Kershaw gurus.

I had one for a while now and I though it was a good chopper until I got and R-TAK II wich work's much better. Also the Outcast needs to be reprofile and it's a hell of a job without the right equipement. It's not bad but there's better choices out there...cheers!!!

Thanks Treg! I too was a little skeptical and this info helps. The RTAK II is on my list!
