Here is a quick link to The Overboard for those interested.

I figured this being more food oriented would be better suited for Kitchen then G&G.

I spotted this somewhere (Uncrate maybe?) and put off buying it for a while simply due to everything going on at once. Plus, I had a decently sized plastic cutting board already, did I really need this one?

I don't know why I didn't get it sooner. As you can see, I don't have a lot of counter space that is up for grabs. I actually have removed the coffee maker , because I haven't made a cup since I put it there, since that picture was taken.

Initial impressions were great. No spots in the wood, some knots and inclusions were filled. Board if very flat, rocks slightly on a diagonal but nothing a folded piece of paper didn't fix. Wiping it down with some mineral oil (as advised) brought out the wood grain nicely.

It's very thick, over the stated 2". I didn't measure the sides, but 20" x 20" looks about right. That gives me just under three square feet to work with. Perfect for working with anything you might want a little bit of elbow room for.
