The painful wait for my bk2 is OVER!!! Pics added

The USPS is killing me with the wait. I ordered my bk2 from dale over at the knife connection a few days ago. And the USPS "accidentally" sent it to the wrong sorting facility. I'm in Iowa and they sent it to NEw Jersey!! It was supposed to be here on the 23rd and hasn't moved from the NJ facility since the night of the 22nd. It's killing me. I might have to buy another Becker in the meantime.im starting to get the shakes!!!

Hopefully it shows up in time for my camping trip in Friday.

Can't wait to put a hurting on some wood with it.

Lmao.....the dreaded wait.

When I order from Dale at TKC, usually, I get a box in the mail the day before I decide to order. He's that fast on shipping..

I ordered mine from Dale also and mine is scheduled to deliver on September 25, but it shows on the tracking site to be still in Ma. I guess by airplane it's possible to have it to me tomorrow. I'll let you know. Hope you get yours soon.

X2 on this! Dale usually ships so fast it's crazy. The bk16 came in two days last week. Goofy tracking still says its in NJ. I need to stay off the forum..... I might impulse buy something!

Still no update as of tonight on where my bk2 is at. Hopefully there will be something in the morning.
 
Just got off the phone with My Local Post office. I have had a case number since Monday on this issue. They told me today that my package must be lost! And that every other package on the Manifest was delivered already. And some of the other packages that went out with mine, from dale, went to both sides of the country and delivered already.

Kind of frustrating since this has happened to me about a half a dozen times in the last 10 yrs.

Looks like Im not going to have it for camping this weekend. Really bummed since we are leaving Friday

I guess Im just venting here. I knew my luck had to run out sometime, ive had to long of a good spell with the USPS.

No kidding. I ordered my B.O.B. from there, and it shipped out less than an hour after I ordered it, and was here in 2 days. Sorry to hear that Gizler, I hate when crap like that happens.

Glad you got yours. Im really bummed as I was looking forward to using it this weekend with my boys while we are camping. I just called dale, 5 minutes ago, he is a great guy and is very receptive to whats going on. Unfortunately before we can really do anything, 30 days has to pass without a package showing up.

Hopefully it will show up before Friday, I dont have much hope though since the Post office has no idea where its at.

Its funny since last week I ordered the 16 from dale and it was here in less than 3 days from date of purchase.

Glad yours showed up. Not sure when his one will surface or if it will at all. I'm still hoping that by some chance it shows up by Friday so I can take it camping.

We shall see. I've had usps packages go rogue for 5-6 months before they surface.
 
I ordered mine through amazon and had it within 2 days... My wife has a prime account with free 2 day shipping.

I gave up on USPS. I use UPS almost exclusively anymore.

For years, I refused to use the USPS due to losing multiple packages. I Am usually hesitant , even now, to use the USPS for anything. But I really love www.the-knife-connection.com , and Dale is great to deal with. So I guess its a small price to pay for having great service and usually very very fast shipping.

Ill keep you guy updated. Hopefully this thing will surface before tomorrow.

That's crazy. I've never had a problem with USPS at all, and our local PO is *awesome*.
However, I do recall that Clich had SEVERAL packages go missing, including the lamented Frankenbecker project. It was as if there was one jerk in the delivery chain who knew and liked the contents of his packages. It's hard sometimes with a vendor, but I insure every blade I ship. Figure it's discouragement to sticky fingers if nothing else since it's more trackable.

Man this thing is really stout!! I seriously didn't expect this knife to have this much heft to it. I have always contemplated getting a larger knife like this one or an esee5. And now I wonder why I waited so long. It's a big, heavy bastard but feels awesome in the hand. At least for me.

I seriously can not wait to drive this thing through some wood while camping this weekend. I'm so glad te knife gods let this thing mysteriously arrive at my door today!!!!

congrats! Waiting sucks and is especially bad when it gets lost during the process. Glad you got your knife.
