The Para-military 2 is for more than just cutting things- it grooms as well.

So I'm on my way to my very first session of military training (I'm learning how to march- I'm such a newbie) and I arrive a little early so I decide to check myself out using the mirror I've sanded onto my Para 2

And well I get a close enough look at my chin to notice that I've missed a few patches of chin and lip hair! :O Dissatisfied with my previous shaving job, I then use my Para 2 to shave off the spots I missed. (with help from the car mirror of course) I managed to get a much better perfect shave with the Para 2 and I didn't feel so silly with embarrassing patches of hair on my chin. :D

Now for the sake of discussion, have you or do you use your knives in unusually convenient ways such as this?

I am a little surprised you're allowed to have that in Basic training frankly.

no no I'm not at basics yet. Canadian basics have a waiting list too long for me to just ship out so quick (especially as a reservist)

Just a training session at the regiments armoury.

Actually, I keep a btty-powered Norelco in the car for those necessary moments.
If you had two Spydies, you wouldn't have to use the car's rear-view mirror.
Nice polish.
