The para2 is really light!!!

You have to handle and carry a Para2 to really experience it. May appear a little underwhelming at simple sight, but the handling and everything else about it is just about perfection, imo.

Hey man....I ain't complaining. I love it.

The light weight of the Para2 is one of its features. My previous knives were mostly heavier so I had a hard time thinking of the Para2 as a serious knife. I did buy the blue version and immediately put it in my pocket for EDC and have been carrying it ever since. If nothing else it is a very efficient design which makes it light weight.

My para cts 20cp is lighter then yours:p

The Para2 is just an amazing knife. I have two now, and could definitely see myself getting a third one. The knife is light and just has a great feel to it. Great ergonomics and I really like the finger choil (really lets you get a good hold on it when doing delicate cutting). The S30v blade steel is amazing, gets extremely sharp and holds its edge for a long time. The compression lock is awesome too, so easy to use and I feel as if it will never fail (in not abusive situations).

Overall it is perfect IMO and mine have been getting lots of love and still going.

I suggest everyone to try the Para2, it may not be everyone's thing (although I would be surprised to find someone that hates it) but I would bet most will love it.

And... it's thin. :) I just love the P2. I don't see how Spyderco can improve on this one.

It really is... I was shocked when I first picked it up, I was expecting a much heftier knife. Luckily, losing that extra weight doesn't seem to take away from its strength and sturdiness.

I just got mine today! My first Spyderco and expensive knife (to me) I waited too long! When i opened it and held it in my hand I ALMOST CRIED. Honest to God! I love this knife and seing the new Halo 4 trailer made it a great day! Hope you all enjoy as much as i do :) ...and yes it is light, but feels amazing!

I was amazed when I first held my Para 2, too :D
