Filmed before, during and after the Falklands War, the documentary follows a group of recruits in the Parachute Regiment.

On their 7th week of training they begin "Basic Wales"...

In this episode a Corporal and a recruit kill and butcher a sheep (the camera "cuts" in after the sheep has been killed), notice the golok (Martindale I reckon...).

I guess the nervous pantomime jokes are because the majority of recruits have never seen an animal killed and butchered before. :barf:

5min 27 into the video you get to see the infamous Pen-Y-Fan and the route to the top.
The Lt.Col is an hilarious toff :D

that sheep skinning effort scared me .
I was waiting to see the blade end up taking someones nose off or something

Pretty cool clip. We did some training with with one of the Para battalions when I was stationed at Fort Bragg...good bunch of guys. I like thier training style...I also like the older SLR/FAL rifles they were issued; I have three:D Thanks for sharing YB...brings back some good memories,
