The part I need isn't in the parts kit

I took apart my Endura yesterday to clean and lube it, and got called away from my bench. I came back to it this morning and I can not find the lock bar. I've looked all over the house and can't find the darn thing, so I though I would buy the replacement kit, till I found that what I need isn't there. What should I do? I voided the warranty by both taking it apart and modifying it, so I cant send it in on warranty, what should I do?

Call or email and ask nicely and maybe they will send you one.
 
Good luck. The lockbar really needs to be fitted to the blade to ensure proper engagement and operation.
 
I'm hoping you meant the spring and not the lockbar. Are you missing the actual piece you press on to unlock?
