I dnt post much. And i try to comment on pics and post. Because many of you have great pics and stories. There are some great people here and the subject of Busse knives is my favorite. But Jerry and staff has absolutely out done themselves this time. I like bigger knives i carry a boss street daily. But this awesome little SOB showed up today. And i without a doubt have found the one knife that i have been searching for. Its perfect. Great in the hand thickness and grind. It has it all. I am the type of person that either likes or dislikes something very quickly. I like my boss street but love my new SOB!! Cant get pics to load. But im still tryin. So to the entire Busse crew and everyone else that feels like i do. Thanks for everything. Thanks for reading i know its kinda long. Now off to put together some leather pants and start beating this dirty little sob!!!!

Congrats on getting one that you love so much. I can't wait to get one of the SOB's! I thought it would be a perfect bushcraft knife. As far as the pics go I can never get it to work unless I move them from my photo bucket site. I can never get them to upload from my computer.

I am lusting after an SOB... (out of context that really could have been an embarrassing admission).... !!!!!!! I must say that for a single do all blade I was sold on the RMD but the skinny BATAC I have is really blowing my skirt up... :D Of course I will be buried in a box padded with ASH1s..!!

It's a great knife, Your correct.
Very close in specs to the legendary SHBA..

Thanks guys! I keep saying ive got all the infi i need then somethan else pops up i just have to have. Sob tglb and nmfbm ud think the bases would b covered. But add a boss street and nmfsh. Then surely ive got it all. Hell no!! Do i see a flying mojo in my future?? Quite possibly along with a divorce!!!!

Congrats on your SOB! It's always great to hear about the love of a new knife.

Congrats on your SOB- love mine, its a greath knife...

When it comes to loading pics., have you tried Imgur.com, works for me...:)

Is the skirt the reason why every time I met you you were wearing a bath robe???? ;)
... you say robe I say Hawaiian shirt... ;) ;) At least the skirt is blue so it matches the rest of my ensemble... !!!!!! ;) Barely dodged a parking ticket the other day as well..!!!!!! Literally 15 seconds... !!

what are the holes at the front and back of the tang for? The semi-circular notch at the base of the blade is for a fire steel? Does the exposed end of the tang have a purpose?

I'll give you my humble opinion here. The exposed end of the tang is so you can hammer with it. The holes might be for the use of a lanyard; some make a knuckle guard out of paracord and tie each ends to those holes. I have used the semi circular (choil) notch for my fire steel. Works well. I've seen other examples of those small choils as a mean to prevent liquids (that slide along the blade) from getting onto your hand. Larger choils can be used to choke up on a blade (insert your index finger in it) for delicate work. I love having my index close to the blade.

Please, someone, correct me if I'm wrong or you've got other ideas on this....... I'm learning all the time;)

Best knife ever was the pork shank!! It was everything I ever needed. So I bought 5!! Then I bought several more different pieces of beautiful infi and then noticed ohhh crap....... im addicted! !! Best cure for it was to buy another piece of infi:)

Isn't that what the Glock is for? ;) :D
.... too noisy in your back streets there...and the CoS Ranger must have been 70 !!!! I think I could have clapped my hands and given her (I think it was a her, truly it was a little hard to tell, lets say she probably rode a Harley at the start of the Oxford st Parade in March) a heart attack....!!
