The Phoenix sheath is done!

Good looking rig. My Phoenix is in a sheath by Noah. One of these day will scrounge up some photos.

Very nice work, Jason!

Are you planning on hanging out a shingle?

That's a beautiful sheath!

I have been so patient in my attempts to get a new Phoenix. I really miss mine :(

That makes me feel good. I designed the knife after watching a movie (Legends of the Fall). I wanted something shorter and more manageable that the brute knife Brad Pitt's character uses in the film. John patiently asked me a few questions and the contouring of the handle was his idea. I'm glad he came up with them because the knife is so much better contoured! I'm not sure how many he's sold, but mine is a keeper. Thanks for donating this knife for such a great cause.

I've avoided some of the stuff about Hanna and Evan because it hits home for me, sort of...my cousin has a 9 year old with terminal leukemia. As of today, he only has days to live. I have two adult sons myself and I have no idea the suffering all of you have dealt with, other than intellectually. My mom died of liver cancer 2 years ago, but she was in her 70s and had lived life. My sons are healthy and if I had to go thru what my cousin is dealing with, I'd be a damn wreck. My thoughts are with all who have to deal with such trauma.

Anyway, sorry for the sob story attached to this thread, I'm not trying to derail anything, just adding my 2cents.

very sorry to hear this brother. prayers and well wishes sent to your family and little cousin! may they find some peace and comfort in these trying times.

I truly dig the phoenix design sir. it was one of favorite woods blades. but it served a much greater purpose anyhow :) I will get another soon.

Thanks guys. My cousin is holding up. He has two daughters who will need him. Anyway....this is for a GREAT cause and I'm anxious to see who the lucky winner will be!
