The point of the two mini knives?

Just wondering because i got my new BAS kukri from HI and i didn't actually think the two knives in the picture were going to actually accompany it. Anyways what is the actually point of these knives other than slicing. One is dull with a flat blunt edge while the other is sharp. The Uses please?

Interesting do you use the flat side of the front/back edge to burnish it?

You normally use the place where an edge would be if it were a Karda.
It can be used in the field to tap rolled edges back into place, but it's primary function is to burnish the edge like you would use a butchers steel.
