I found a thread on here (and a couple Youtube videos) showing how you can stonewash a knife with a few simple things.
I bought a 32 oz bag of polished rocks from the dollar store (Dollar Tree) for a buck. I then filled an empty PB jar about half way with the rocks, stuck the blade of the knife inside along with a generous amount of WD-40. I closed up the jar, bundled it in a towel and tied the towel down, and threw it in the dryer (no heat) for around one and a half hours. The results are linked below.
Here are some pictures of the process. The blade was hard to get really good pics of, but I think they're a bit better than the other ones up. If anyone wants more just let me know. The only problem now is that this knife is basically useless
. I need to spend a good long time on the blade and serrations, as well as buy some Loctite for the screw that holds the blade in, as the blade literally unscrews itself and falls off of the handle after opening it about twelve times
Anyways.. here's a link to the pics that I uploaded to Facebook.

This knife was an $8 gas station purchase, but I thought the axis-lock wannabe looked interesting enough to give it a try. It's decently sturdy and holds a good edge. The biggest problem is the screw that's completely useless :barf:
