Found something waiting for me.
Earlier this week the Spydy sharpmaker and today this;
Ps, My trusty uncle Buck opened the package, was not included :)

A OD kit and a black knife+sheath only.
Blacky wil be my work edc knife, the kit is for home and outdoors.

Though it had a nice factory edge, i ran it passed my sharpmaker to make it shave.
Will be testing Izzy and my new kuk this evening, if it stay dry......
 
Two Izulas in one day, that makes for a damn good one. Congrats!
 
Sweet!! I got my tan one knife-and-sheath-only, but I think I am going to get a green or black one with the full kit.
 
Test run was fun. Skinned an entire foot thick fresh logs for bark, curled dry wood, made a thick dart from a piece of wood.
2,5 hours of fun and still a nice egde. It aint shaving but it is still pretty sharp, better than the factory edge. Even used it to pry off the bark, izzy didnt even break a sweat.
It still looks as new, impressive work jeff and mike!

My new kukri on the other hand...... I chopped 2 pieces of dry wood, the wood here is pretty tough even dry, after the third chop it hit the supporting log and broke.... Exactly at the blade/tang transition.....
Expected a LOT more than this. Gonna send Nepalese Kukri House an email about it...

Using both tools what they were ment for, izzy won hands down.
Now i am not just thinking to get a larger ESEE knife. I really want one..... I hate this place....
